Chiara Meneghetti Associate Professor University of Padua
I’m Associate Professor in Psychology at the General Psychology Department of the University of Padova. I completed my education at the University of Padova.
My main interest lies spatial cognition, and particular in studying mental and environment representations using several inputs (map, real and virtual navigation, descriptions) in relation to cognitive, preference, emotional and motivational individual aspects.
I’m also involved in studying psychological correlates of academic achievement, in terms of soft-skills, study strategies, emotional and motivational features.
I‘m involve in several collaboration and projects in spatial cognition and learning with other universities and company. I teach in various courses within the Padova Psychology BSc and MSc program.
I am a member of the Memory & Learning Laba research team dedicated to various topics of general psychology encompassing higher cognitive processes (memory, learning, spatial orientation, intelligence, motivation) throughout the life span, both in typical and atypical populations.
